Our application process

Thank you for your interest in securing a place at our day nursery. We aim to make our admissions process clear, supportive, and straightforward for all families.

1. Enquiry

We encourage parents and carers to contact us initially via our enquiry form which can be found on our Home page or by email with the following details:

  • Preferred childcare start date

  • Child’s date of birth (so we can confirm age-group availability)

  • Preferred days/ sessions required

  • Eligibility status for Free Early Education government funded hours, including how many hours

Once we receive this information, we will provide a personalised quotation for you to consider.

If you are happy with the quotation, we will arrange a viewing of the nursery with our Nursery Manager.

Please note: availability can only be held for a maximum of two weeks from the date the quotation is issued and the registration fee is received.

2. Viewing

A viewing is essential and provides parents and carers with the opportunity to:

  • Meet our team

  • Explore our setting

  • Ask questions about our curriculum and daily routines

  • Learn how we follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework

This visit helps you decide whether our nursery is the right fit for your child and family.

3. Registration Fee

If you wish to proceed after accepting the terms of our quotation and attending a viewing, a registration fee is required for each child for whom a place is being reserved.

  • The registration fee secures your child’s place.

  • Once we confirm the place following receipt of the registration fee, the fee becomes non-refundable.

Please note: this does not apply to children accessing a fully funded Free Early Education place only.

4. Registration

Following payment of the registration fee, parents and carers will be required to complete the nursery registration process.

This includes providing additional information and documentation, particularly details required to access Free Early Education government funded hours (where applicable).

This can be completed either:

  • During a paperwork appointment at the nursery, or

  • Via email

5. Settling-In Sessions

Before your child starts with us, we arrange settling-in sessions to help them feel comfortable and confident in their new environment.

During this time, we will gather important information about your child’s:

  • Routine

  • Interests

  • Individual needs

This ensures a smooth and positive transition into nursery life.

We are committed to working in partnership with parents to provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for every child.

Please contact us if you would like further information or to begin the application process.
